A new law will be passed soon to make it a legal requirement for the citizens of Holsworthy to bow to the presence of Lord Jon Hutchings, mayor and lord of the town.
The law will come into place on April the 1st, 2018 and will require any passing citizen to stop and bow. This includes emergency services too.
We spoke to Jon and he had this to say
I have absolutely no idea where this law came from. Its come just out of the blue, I’m sure its something made up, it can’t be serious.
We explained to Jon that this was serious. He didn’t believe us. Anyhow.
Once the law comes in, failure to comply may result in a £300 fine.
